This is one more piece to malign the opposition and place BJP as the sole defender of country. Do you want people to stop questioning? Then why not ban the entire media like China and run state owned press?
The situation today is that the entire political grouping involving socialists, communists and centre (Congress) is against just one person, PM Narendra Modi.
It is quite easy in USA to run democacy and exactly opposite in our country. Till we have leaders of parties like SP, BSP, JDU and Akali Dal, democracy is no more than mockery.
One of the reasons why NDTV endorses so many anti-Modi and anti-Hindutva views is that they have lost their patronage after Congress went out of power. Good they are banned for a day.
Free media and criticism of government is present in every democratic setup, then why cry foul in India. If you are in power, learn to accept criticism and assessment.
In recent past many BJP leaders have done chest thumping like Manohar Parrikar on surgical strikes and now Kiren Rijiju. This is not expected, we wait for policy implementations.
Right. Why cant opposition talk about topics like APMC, land acquisition and ease of doing business, this will be more relevant and in favour of progress of country and all Indians.
TMC leaders are pure opportunists. They will be present everywhere where Muslims are concerned. They have even beaten Samajwadi and Bahujan Samajwadi in this race of appeasement.
Together with BJP ministers, India is making rapid strides toward growth. But channels like NDTV and Aaj Tak will continue defaming government efforts for TRP benefits.
Modi government has redefined authoritarianism and fascism. Unless they make country minority free and apply hindu laws they will not relax. Voters must not support this party in 2019.
The actors are not so important.The Writer of their future scenarios (and their show) is truly important. Voters (the audience) just choose the show they (and the rest of us) are going to watch for the next 5 years
Oppositions have no proper issues in hand that can help to oppose current Government. There is very famous saying by Chanakya that I feel suits today’s Indian politics. Chanakya says…”if poets, writers & intelligent people give back awards to king that means king is working for the betterment of people” this is what is happening today in India
Thanks for Dr Sunil Gupta for confirming that Indian law and constitution give inalienable right for law enforcement to conduct extra judicial killing with no accountability..This was new news that Article 21 was actually not valid for criminals and other evil entities.. ” Encounters by policemen have happened in the past as well, some have also been declared fake by courts, but does that give an inalienable right to politicians to blindly come in support of criminals and terrorists? This is new trend indeed”
A few questions that begs for an answer from these new found peace and Human rights activists
A> Is the commitment of suicide by ex- Soldier far greater a sacrifice than those of Soldiers Kiled in URI as no body made a beeline for the final rites of those killed in Battle fields
B> Is a ministers question about the Mental Health of the soldier who committed suicide out of place or context when read along with the instances of fracticide’s in uniform or commitment of suicides are highly correlated to mental state of persons
C> In whose company do these peaceniks find themselves safe and secure the Police force whom they are blaming or the undertrials who had escaped from Prisons
Where is the killing of Men in Bhopal. After all, MP Police have killed only animals in human form that have wrongfully strayed into the City from the Jungle. MP Police is 200% right in killing animals which would have massacred many innocent law abiding lives inside City Limits. Hats Off to MP Police. This is a Very Clear Signal for other Police Force to follow throuthout India as normal Citizens who strictly adhere to the Law are not considered as Humans by the Courts and Human Rights Commission in India, perhaps, very sadly.
It is high time the Indian Constitution should be scrapped in toto and should be re-written to suit Indians of 2020 and the Laws should be such that should not tempt the present day Youth to become hard core criminals and proceed from that point to become MPs and MLAs.
The Present day Courts are favouring the Criminals more than Law abiding Citizens and the Courts should change the Laws so that the population of criminals come down every year because of our stringent Laws. Will the Courts ensure that? ??
NDTV has been ordered off air for a day. And just today they have a column for JNU scholar made famous by them, and attempt to elevate him in politics, they have even endorsed his book. How can NDTV even give space to a person who shouted anti-India slogans? SHAME
Oppositions are face off from the ruling Govt and don’t hvae any reason to lead people to any extant. Their problem is their dynasty and loyalty not the Nation as where the PM is doing great job and reforming country as needed which was lacked behind from many years including the Arm forces needs. Some people are saying is that Arm Market is down that why he is getting what he want. But why Russian cut the prices Sukhi T – 50 A5.5 generation plane which is stealth mode from 6.8 billion to 3.9 Billion in usd and invest in India. Why Loclkhead martin is coming to India with F- 22 and F- 16 and exporting from India where U S congress is approved the all deal ..Are Us is mad to approve first time in History of their independent.
Opposition is made single point Vedanta is to prove that this Govt is against a particular cast and do not realize that people of India is not fool to forget when a high prince of political boy talks to Management student and tell them Mr. Steve Jobs ifs from Microsoft … As far as these terrorist concerns, when they were brought for trial at court were yelling “Taliban Jindabad and Hindustan ke tukade kar dege ” where were these political people were there?
The Death of a jawan is not subject of politics infact it is sad indecent and matter for mourn . The Ruling Govt is doing what is to be done but it needs time for the effect to take place. And country is with family of this Jawan and equally shameful that the way local Authority handled the situations
