Duty of our government should be to ban not only liquor but also tobacco and cigarettes. Warning on their packets should be increased and all illegal shops and manufacturing must be closed.

Centre & State Govt should allocate more funds for education & create a deterrent policy towards Smoking, Tobacco & Alcohol use. According to me it has worked well in Maharashtra. When the world was first introduced to the dangers of AIDS… Govt didn’t ban Prostitution? Education on Safe Sex / Approach towards AIDS… worked wonders. The Government should work more towards deterrent policies rather creating confusion among people by invading their freedom of choice…. when encroached will aggravated the situation more.

Also Liquor may not be something only for enjoyment but in many situations help people overcome their Personal and Business problems when they are under too much tensions. The alternative solutions may not be very easy to follow. My point is that we may look into finding new Drinks which will help people effectively to control their emotions without affecting the health of people. Hence we may need an upgraded solution. For example there are tablets or drinks available for weight loss. I don’t know whether they are good or bad but a thoroughly tested and approved drink will serve the purpose.
